I am Emerson Thut, a high school student from Carmel Valley. This website is a component of my Girl Scout Gold Award, which aims to create a lasting solution to a specific local issue.

My project is aimed towards encouraging more youth involvement on San Diego hiking trails. By promoting awareness around proper hiking preparation and accessibility, I hope to get more kids in grades K-12 out hiking in our gorgeous county!
